Saturday, October 20, 2007 lesson learnt the most important lesson learnt ever since i came here: DO NOT EVER TRUST ANY AUSSIE TO BE ON TIME! never! unless they are your lecturers. even if they are, do it with a pinch of salt, they sometimes lie.
why? 1. have to do a project with a group of aussies. was surprised that one of them automatically contacted everyone in the group about how to go about doing it. and so we are decided to split the parts and she emailed everyone who was doing which part...
then, we met for a discussion about our progress... which was okayish, except one did not turn up. the girl who did not turn up was supposed to email us what she had planned to do on her part 'cos she was sick and could not come for the discussion, which was fine, until she emailed us. 'cos some of her points was my points for my section and i emailed her back, pointing that out. but she did not reply me.
then, the next meeting, we were supposed to have done up our slides and go through them together, but one did not do, but she have done up a speech (which was very gd, so all was forgiven) and the one who did not turn up nor reply my email! she did my part! fantastic! so in the end, we didn't manage to put the entire presentation together but at least i had part of it. which leads to the next blood problem.
and it is! we have to hand up a one page summary, and since everyone looked busy, i offered to do it. since i have a little bit time...(a super dumb move but...) and that everyone was supposed to email me their slides and summary part by friday...but the earliest i received was 12 noon, which was okay, since i sorta expected it. but...the one who did not turn up ... she...(@#$%#$%^$) have yet to email me! and it's...3.47pm saturday! WTH. still dare to sms me say she will email me tmr. what? tmr 12 midnight? when our presentation is on monday morning? * 开始打小人*
2. walked past a very make shift store along the pathways while walking to chinatown today for groceries. saw some extremely cute stuffed toys (handmade!) and notebooks. wanted to buy but thought it was too much to bring to grocery shopping and back home. found out that she will be here the "whole"day. she lied! it's not even half a day and when we came back, she wasn't even there anymore! *liar liar butt's on fire*
the rest will be how flexible my lecturers are about time and word limit, but it's pretty boring, so i've decided to not blog about it. haha. later cannot delay the dateline, how?
unforgettable memories deep inside me. wish that it would never be erased as i would like to keep our memories with our happy moments forever.
Before I grew up I saw you on a cloud
I could bless myself in your name
and patch you on my wings
"Life is hard and so is love, child, believe in all these things"
I just wanna brag and say "I Love You"
