Fact proven by me.
Method: -Reached NYP early to collect the graduation gown -Had to wait for the people in charge to slowly open the room, put up the forms that even those who had ordered online have to fill in. Then why allow us to order online? -Had to queue up and try on gown Some people just somehow manages to cut the queue. -Had to queue up to pay for gown and then collect gown.
Conclusion All and all, I say, in order to get the worm, the bird must be very fast in action (cutting queues and fillling up forms), must be very lucky (manage to cut the queue) and need not be the earliest, just a little later than the first few. Hence, it's not about reaching early to get something done. It's about being lucky and skillful.
