Saturday, January 27, 2007 yesterday, was on duty at the booth in openhouse
verdict: we so shouldn't have a booth in the open house cos it's all secondary school students!
it's like a freaking waste of time explaining the course to them and answering all their qns, and only to be asked "so, what's the L1R4 cut off for this course?" so, we sorta asked all who were interested, "may i know what's your qualifications? "A"s or "O"s?" first before directing them to nursing and dental therapy... i know, it's mean of us, but hey! the school should have put the requirements in BOLD, Font size 72 or something on the posters. it's equivalent to giving kids who were interested but do not qualify false hope.
of course, there were some who were on the crossroads of not knowing whether to go through JC or Poly, asking the usual qns, about JC life, "A"s and stuff. and so, the conversation with them also ended up with "so, we'll see you in two years" but deep in our hearts, what did it really meant?
unforgettable memories deep inside me. wish that it would never be erased as i would like to keep our memories with our happy moments forever.
