Tuesday, August 29, 2006 okay, so i'm one day late of blogging about...okay, two days late... about sunday's 文化's 21st anniversay party at NUSS GUILD HOUSE.
i must say, the NUSS GUILD House is really inconvenient place to go to and have a party. although it allows you to book an big room and have the buffet outside the room. but it's not that fantastic as it's name makes it sounds. so don't get fooled.
anyways, met quite a lot of people in the party. some i have been trying to meet and some i'm dying to avoid. haha. so, met them, had the little chit chat thing and found our table! saturday's PA3 table! knew everyone except these two people, a married couple, a jap lady n her french husband. and is freaking amazed by the amount of japanese sake bottles fr japan they brought here, just for the party at our table. hahaha. although i only took a sip and gave the rest to M, i like them. they were fun, took funny pics with us, and speak fleunt japanese, which was simple enough for mentally slow to process japanese words to english words and then my answer from english to japanese to reply them. sorry, sunday, a day after saturday, japanese-speaking day.can't think that well
anyway, after a series of boring speeches and some games, which my group lost even though we participate, but whatever... came the buffet dinner! yummy! had to wait for people to finish they round then we joined the queue. saw some guy with a huge plate filled with tempura prawns and soft shell crab. did the same thing, since our table was having our little mini buffet. same time from keep going back to get food that u want but hasn'e been taken away by others. sensei joined us for our little buffet, clever person.
then it was back to the games again.arghh just wanna eat. hope we go back to honjim again or some other japanese restaurant for next yr anniversary party.
otherwise, all in all, it was quite fun, minus the speeches ny the students.
unforgettable memories deep inside me. wish that it would never be erased as i would like to keep our memories with our happy moments forever.
