the burnt out porcupine

no denial, i'm the burnt out porcupine...

i'm having a one week holiday while having to prepare for my ca for the module, radiation physics. and so, i planned to enjoy myself and i'm jolly well gonna do it while studying of course...

first thing first. if you have seen my tan, u noe it's horrible. i'm like white from the upper arm onwards and every where esle that is covered by the swim suit. so, it;s the first thing to go. i have spent the last two days swimming and tanning away, which explains why i'm totally burnt out. no worries or sadly, to burst some people's bubble, i don't think i'm gonna die of skin cancer just yet. whatever protection there is against skin cancer besides covering up, i have done it.

secondly, i went for a hair cut today. change my hair style...well, my hair colour is still the same prior to say about a fortnight ago. it's shorter on top and trimmer behind. in short, as my brother termed, with regards to the gelled up look by my hair stylist, sam, is the porcupine look. and thus, u see, my friends, i'm a burnt out and i'm a porcupine...ain't that cute?....NOT!

anyway, watched The Terminal, today. thanks to Casey, my brother's friend. she lent him the dvd. very nicely done by steven spielberg, i must say. it's touching, funny, sad and cruel, all at the same time. it's a love story, a friendship story and most definitely a story that teach us about human compassion. so, pls go catch the movie and i'm sure u will totally enjoy it.

oh, by the by, if you have read about the real sotry that the movie is based on and is most likely, gonna compare it with the stroy, i say, forget about the story and enjoy the show because NO HOLLYWOOD MOVIE EVER FOLLOW A BOOK! not very much closely, at least.
