a very very long blog *beware*

reported in previous report tat i worked yesterday...
well, was kinda bothered by wat junni told me
n glad too.

i totally understand how she felt n think
even though i dunno how high the standard was at od b4 i started working there but even i felt the standard had dropped from the-not-so-high-standard-as-compared-as-to-b4...
but i'm still proud to say i am trained at od n is from that outlet.

although, i dun really understand wat "torture" xy, jy n her went thru b4
cos i didn't experience it myself so wat she said was kinda out of the world n psychotic...at least that's wat it seems to me...
i think that the standard now, at od, is still passsable
at least whoever is left there have better attitude towards work there than other outlets.
*note: this is a personal opinion. do not get offended after u read this. i believe every member from every outlet are proud to say that their outlet is the best

it is true that many trainees are trained in od n den transferred to other outlets. hence, it is extremely impt tat od set a very very gd example.
however, it is extremely, i repeat extremely, unfair to put the blame on the members at od if the trainees tat r transferred do not have the correct attitude, or simply is unable to do things fast enough or good enough or cant even remember to do simple things the way they r meant to be. furthermore, it is kinda unfair to compare now to the past. the members have changed, n so will the standard. also, dunno whether they had to face the situation we r facing now. if they did, kudoos to them. but if they didnt, dun just stand on one side n comment.

reason 1: time factor
b4 op opened, there were a lot of trainees in od just becos of that outlet needed help to train them.
okay, n so we trained them.
however, we were not given much time to train them...at most only 2 wks.
pls also take note that those who trained them have tried their best to train them as fast as possible but with extremely limited time
so how can anyone expect the same standard that applies to od b4 be applied to them n those who trained them
furthermore, with such limitied time, we have no time to play those come-we-test-u games *forgive me for being sarcastic*
hence,if anyone wants to make a judgement, pls be fair to both sides of the party.
cos, no one wants to be hurt afterall

reason 2: lack of senior n more experienced members
when those trainees (those who r in op now n were from od) came to train,
we had a very very serious lack of senior n experienced members in od.
most were on study breaks, n they r the more experienced ones in training pple. pls note, the full timers here r not as senoir as some part timers n even if they r, they can only teach one / two pple at one go...
okay, i admit, i cant teach very well. but it takes two hands to clap, so if those who are trained do not have a gd attitude towards learning, i cant do anything, can i?

reason 3:we r humans, not gods
we r humas, not gods.
we cant be there hundred percent to make sure/remind/scold the trainees abt their mistakes
as i wrote b4, we have tried our best n u can say "well, our best, is not gd enough".
if i were very very strict on myself, i would have agreed but to b fair
if anyone were to say, it is extremly unfair to those who trained them
as we r only human, we cant control them, we dunno how they behave outside
how can anyone make sure tat they behave exactly the same way they behave in od n when they r in other outlets?
yes, u can say, some do, but not everyone does so, do they?
how sure can u say those who do, behave hundred percent the same way they do at od? do u even have the confidence to say that whoever had trained under u for two wks will definitely behave the way he/she did in front of u at od, will behave exactly the same way, exert the same standard when u are not ard? if u can, kudoos to u

reason 4: influence/peer pressure in outlet
this is gonna b quite unfair to the others but gonna say this anyway
influence in one outlet is very impt, esp tat of the shift leader
for example, although i have only worked at op for two days
i can safely say, there is no standard or even there is, it's kinda low
the way they do things there...sighz..totally cannot make it
just anyhow do. y? becos kleiser says so
didnt even hear one say becos clement/jj said so
always kleiser...
if the shift leader is so slack n do not set a gd exmaple for the members to follow, den there is no use for us at od to train them rite?
afterall, they will all get influenced by him n forget whatever were taught by us
plus, i seriously think the "not-enough-time-to-do-the-od-way-cos-there's-a-lot-of-customers" reason is a bloody lousy excuse. bulls**t
it is such an insult to all service crew members everywhere
just because they cant do fast enough, they r allowed to give such a lousy excuse. there r pple who can do it fast n with standard n face the same amt of lucnh crowd like they do at op, n do u see/hear them complain or give extremely lousy excuses like this? no!
hence, if u cant do it fast n with high standard, pls dun blame the others. u only have urselfs to blame.

disappointed, i am, in those at op.
disappointed, i am, who say od has become to slack.

unforgettable memories deep inside me.
wish that it would never be erased
as i would like to keep our memories
with our happy moments forever.

Before I grew up I saw you on a cloud
I could bless myself in your name
and patch you on my wings
"Life is hard and so is love, child, believe in all these things"

I just wanna brag and say "I Love You"
